Job summary

Geneoscopy is seeking a QC Specialist I to perform quality control activities across the testing and manufacturing lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance. You will review records, identify discrepancies, and support timely resolution to maintain data integrity and product quality.

This on-site role collaborates with laboratory, manufacturing, and quality teams. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a science field and has 1–2 years in a CLIA/CAP or

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science field required; biology or chemistry preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a CLIA/CAP or QSR-regulated environment.
• At least 2 years of PCR testing experience.
• Ability to read and understand technical procedures and instructions.
• Strong multitasking and collaborative skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QC reviews of sample data for accuracy throughout testing.
• Evaluate incoming materials and inspect components and products at stages.
• Support laboratory and clinical operations with QC checks on data and entries.
• Collaborate to update nonconformances for data inaccuracies.
• Track and trend QC data and prepare quality presentations.
• Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, NYS, DOH, FDA, ISO, and related standards.
• Support the Quality Management System and audits/inspections.
• Review and update procedures to improve compliance and efficiency.
• Perform duties under general supervision and demonstrate subject-matter knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned.
