Job summary

Medisca is seeking a QC Specialist in Irving, TX to support the Quality Control department with receiving, quarantining, releasing products, calibration, maintenance, and deviation investigations. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and teamwork within a new state-of-the-art facility.

You will perform documentation reviews, assist QC inspectors, and maintain environmental conditions while leveraging MS Office; knowledge of Syspro/MasterControl is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates/Bachelor’s degree in a Science related field or relevant pharmaceutical experience.
• Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience in Quality Control environment.
• Proven decision making and problem solving skills; applies judgment.
• Detail oriented is a must.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) required; Syspro/MasterControl an asset.
• Ability to lift to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, quarantining and releasing products: chemical bulk receipt processing, inspection and release; device bulk receipt processing, inspection and release; maintain quarantine areas.
• Calibration and maintenance: maintain calibration and maintenance schedules; schedule calibration and maintenance services; monitor environmental conditions throughout location.
• Quality events and document control: perform investigations (deviations, NCMRs, CAPAs, SCARs); initiate change controls; quality review of documents; file and organize documentation; support QC Inspectors.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Maintain calibration and maintenance schedules.
• Schedule calibration and maintenance services.
