Job summary

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Scientist II, Quality Control, to support analytical method validation, transfers, and testing of pharmaceutical materials and products. You will lead projects, mentor staff, and produce technical reports under QC leadership.

You will work within the QC laboratory to optimize methods, track data, and ensure cGMP compliance while collaborating with Analytical Development and manufacturing teams in Wisconsin and beyond.

Qualifications

• MS in Chemistry with 5+ years of lab experience or BS in Chemistry with 8+ years of lab experience.
• Experience with LCMS, HPLC/UHPLC, GC, FTIR, UV/Vis, LC/MS and KF.
• Familiar with cGMP, ICH, CDER requirements and analytical data handling.
• Ability to work independently and lead projects with mentoring of peers.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical method validation and transfer projects and provide analytical results.
• Prepare validation reports, SOPs, and development protocols.
• Support optimization of analytical methods across API and drug product.
• Mentor junior scientists and coordinate analytical activities cross-functionally.
• Review data and perform non-routine experiments; ensure compliance with cGMP.
