Job summary

Actalent is seeking a QC Scientist I to join our regulated laboratory team in Eugene, OR. You will perform routine quality control testing, maintain equipment, and document results in compliance with cGMP, GLP, GDP and SOPs. The role requires hands-on analytical skills and meticulous data integrity.

You will work with instruments such as HPLC, ICP-MS, UV-Vis, and NMR, and use LIMS to manage data. This is a contract position offering comprehensive benefits and a stable, detail‑oriented work

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a quality control lab.
• Familiar with cGMP/GLP/GDP and QA systems.
• Experience with analytical instrumentation.
• Ability to document results per SOPs.
• Experience calibrating and maintaining equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.
• Experience with GDP documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC testing using established methods and instrumentation.
• Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and solutions.
• Conduct testing with HPLC, ICP-MS, UV-Vis, flow cytometry, NMR, dissolution testing and related techniques.
• Analyze data and interpret results for accuracy and reliability.
• Escalate unexpected results and investigate as appropriate.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and traceable records per quality systems.
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
• Use LIMS and software to enter, track, and report data.
• Follow PPE, safety and contamination-control procedures.
