Job summary

Randstad USA in Eugene, OR is seeking a contract QC Analyst to perform routine and specialized testing supporting therapeutic product development, with focus on compliance to cGMP, GLP, GDP. You will conduct QC testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods using HPLC, UV-Vis, ICP-MS, and dissolution testing, document results, and assist with equipment calibration.

• Hands-on proficiency with analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, ICP-MS, or dissolution testing).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized testing and analysis to support therapeutic product development.
• Conduct quality control testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods using advanced analytical instrumentation.
• Document test results in accordance with GDP and participate in laboratory investigations.
• Utilize LIMS, analytical software, and Microsoft Office to track and report analytical findings.
• Assist in routine laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain strict adherence to cGMP, GLP, and quality management guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Working knowledge of cGMP, GLP, and GDP requirements.
• Hands-on proficiency with analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, ICP-MS, or dissolution testing).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to wear required PPE and perform hands-on laboratory work.

Preferred

• 2+ years of QC laboratory experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
• Familiarity with microbiological testing, aseptic techniques, or flow cytometry.
• Experience operating LIMS and analytical data systems.
