Job summary

MilliporeSigma in Milwaukee, WI seeks an Associate Quality Control Chemist (Laboratory) to perform routine analytical testing under our quality management system. The role involves operating titration, spectroscopy, and chromatography equipment, documenting data, and ensuring compliance with library specifications.

The position requires a BS in chemistry or life sciences and is on second shift (2:00pm–10:30pm). External applicants must be eligible to work in the US; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or life science required.
• 1+ year in a quality control or laboratory setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of analytical tools and data integrity practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine analytical tests per QMS guidelines.
• Operate analytical equipment and software (titration, spectroscopy, chromatography).
• Document data and ensure complete records.
• Perform stoichiometry and unit conversions.
• Compare data to specifications and approved libraries.
• Safely handle samples and maintain compliance.
