Job summary

RayzeBio, a Bristol Myers Squibb subsidiary, seeks an Associate Scientist I in Quality Control for Isotope Production in Indianapolis. The role conducts QC testing of materials and finished isotopes, ensuring GMP-compliant documentation and timely release for clinical and commercial programs.

Responsibilities include performing analyses, maintaining SOPs, supporting instrument qualification, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in a radiochemical lab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related discipline with 0–3 years in analytical chemistry or radiochemistry.
• Knowledge of quality systems and documentation practices (GMP, ISO) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analyses according to validated methods to support isotope production.
• Record data and analyze results to ensure timely final product testing and release.
• Assist in development, review, and improvement of laboratory SOPs and related documents.
• Execute, document, and close out records with attention to detail and proper recordkeeping.
• Participate in troubleshooting analytical issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in routine calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and materials.
• Develop and maintain appropriate documentation, particularly data analysis.
• Support instrument qualification, calibration, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Radiation Safety Officer to ensure radiation safety program compliance.
• Provide technical support to other teams as required.
• Review laboratory data to support timely release of isotope production batches.
• This is primarily a first-shift position with periodic additional hours.
