Job summary

Cagayan State University seeks a student intern in Minnesota to support loan and deposit documentation reviews, QA checks, and data analysis. You will learn established procedures, identify discrepancies, and assist with special projects while gaining exposure to all areas of Quality Control.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a finance or economics degree, authorized to work in the United States, and demonstrate strong communication, organization, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills with multitasking and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team while maintaining confidentiality.
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to maintain confidential information to the highest degree.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loan and deposit documentation review to identify exceptions or discrepancies.
• Assist with loan and deposit Quality Assurance reviews as assigned.
• Analyze volumes and data trends to identify patterns and opportunities for improvement.
• Support special projects and initiatives as assigned.
• Shadow and gain exposure to all areas of Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
