Job summary

Formlabs in Millbury, OH is seeking a QC/QA Chemical Technician to ensure product quality and reliability. You will calibrate QC equipment, establish procedures, and support scale‑up for new products, collaborating with R&D and QA teams.

The role requires a Chemistry degree, familiarity with ISO standards, and strong training and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and drive continuous improvement in quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Performs QC testing on finished goods and incoming materials and components (including ISO 13485 materials).
• Performs in-process inspections for conformance to quality standards.
• Responsible for performing all calibration on QC equipment and vendor equipment.
• Establish QC procedures for all new products with supervisor.
• Supports QC scale-up activities for new products.
• Ordering supplies and materials for R&D, QC, and Chemists.
• Training R&D employees and QC technicians when necessary.
• Periodically review ISO 13485 departmental operational procedures for QC.
• Maintaining and improving procedures for quality.
• Conduct quality issue investigations.
• Supports QMS processes such as equipment calibration, document control, CAPA, deviations, NCMR, internal audit, training, etc.

This person may create standard operating procedures to be used in new employees and ongoing training materials.
