Job summary

Curia is seeking a Manager, Quality Control in Rensselaer, NY for night shift. You will oversee QC testing and operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while directing analysts and technicians to deliver timely results.

You will drive investigations, CAPAs, and deviation management, maintain inspection readiness, and mentor a skilled team in HPLC/GC methods and other analytical techniques. This role requires strong leadership and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or related field.
• 5–8 years’ GMP/GLP experience with chromatography and method development/validation.
• Minimum 2 years’ professional management experience.
• Experience supporting regulatory inspections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee testing and operations of QC teams for samples, in-process and final products.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements; maintain documentation.
• Supervise analysts and technicians; manage performance and productivity.
• Ensure safe laboratory operations and adherence to SOPs and cGMPs.
• Coordinate multiple projects with timelines and objectives.
• Drive shift schedule adherence and ensure RFT performance.
• Maintain lab inspection readiness and handle customer QC requests.
• Lead investigations and CAPAs; manage deviations and change control.
• Perform pharmaceutical analysis and mentor team on techniques and equipment.
