Job summary

Staffing Resource Group, Inc. seeks a QC Microbiologist I to perform microbiological testing across raw materials, in-process and finished products, and environmental samples in a Tampa laboratory.

You will identify microorganisms, run sterility tests, and support investigations into deviations while contributing to continuous improvement. The role requires an associate degree (bachelor’s preferred), at least three years in a GMP/pharma setting, and proficiency with LIMS/eQMS and data tools.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in scientific discipline required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum three years in pharma/GMP regulated environment.
• Knowledge of microbiological techniques and aseptic practices.
• Familiarity with USP <60>,<61>, and <62>, and environmental monitoring programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiology testing of raw materials, in-process, utilities, water sampling/testing, finished products and environmental monitoring.
• Perform growth promotion and sterility testing of media.
• Investigate deviations and report findings.
• Maintain equipment and media; ensure lab supplies.
• Support audits and review SOPs/test methods related to microbiology.
• Travel between local Tampa worksites as needed.
