PCI Pharma Services in Bedford, NH is seeking a QC Microbiologist to join the Quality Control team. You will conduct sampling and testing of production environments, including clean rooms and water systems, following approved procedures and GMP standards.

The role requires hands-on lab work, documentation, and collaboration with management. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in a cGMP setting (associates or non-scientific bachelor’s degree accepted) and a degree in Microbiology or related field.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years in a cGMP environment; two years may be replaced by Associates/Non-Scientific Bachelor's, four years may be replaced with BS/BA in Microbiology or related field.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine Environmental Monitoring of the classified clean rooms
• Monitor classified clean rooms during manufacturing operations; gown qualification required
• Sample and test Water for Injection System, USP Purified Water, and Clean Steam systems; perform plate reads for environmental and utilities testing with minimal supervision
• Write and execute protocols/experiments/SOPs under limited supervision
• Review peers' work and SOP changes; assist in investigations and complex protocol execution
• Visually inspect media fill vials and plates
• Conduct general lab maintenance/housekeeping
• Train staff in routine processes
• Other duties as assigned
