Job summary

Novartis is seeking a QC Microbiology Technician onsite in Morris Plains to perform routine environmental monitoring in controlled manufacturing areas, ensuring cGMP compliance.

You will document activities in real time, maintain data integrity, and support incubation, sampling, and data review to help ensure product safety.

Requirements include an associate or bachelor’s degree in microbiology and at least one year of pharma lab experience; shift: Wed–Sat, 12:00pm–10:30pm.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in microbiology or closely related field.
• At least one year of experience in a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical lab.
• Knowledge of cGMP and GLP concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and batch-related environmental monitoring in controlled manufacturing environments.
• Document lab activities in real time and maintain data integrity.
• Review and track microbiology results to support timely product release.
• Prepare samples and routine media for analysis.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained.
