Job summary

AHU Technologies is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager for a pipe fabrication facility. The role leads the QA/QC program, ensures compliance with ASME, ASTM, API, and customer specifications, and oversees welding procedures, inspections, NDE coordination, hydrostatic testing, and material traceability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of QA/QC in welding and pipe fabrication, strong leadership, and the ability to read isometric drawings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in welding and pipe fabrication.
• AWS CWI certification required (expired may be accepted if renewed upon employment).
• Ability to read and interpret isometric and fabrication drawings.
• Experience managing ITPs, SDRs, quality records, and customer documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the facility's Quality Control Program.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, ASTM, API, and customer specifications.
• Maintain ITPs, SDRs, hold/witness points, and quality records.
• Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate NDE activities (RT, UT, PT, MT).
• Oversee hydrostatic testing, documentation, and acceptance criteria.
