Job summary

RealREPP is seeking a traveling QC Manager to lead the Corporate QC Program for nationwide heavy civil and industrial projects, based in the Houston area. You will support QC initiatives, mentor QC staff, and coordinate with clients, including USACE projects.

5+ years of construction experience and a CPA? (no) certification like CQM or PE are desired. Expect relocation considerations and a comprehensive benefits package as part of the role.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant construction experience.
  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
  • PE License is a PLUS.
  • Prior experience with USACE projects.
  • CQM certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Knowledge of wide range of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective people management skills including the ability to delegate.
  • Willingness to train and mentor more junior personnel in support of QC program.

  • Serving as the primary point of contact to coordinate and conduct meetings with the client.
  • Supporting the Technical Director on QC initiatives and hiring plans.
  • Supporting project management through ongoing training of QC specialists assigned to projects.
  • Providing appropriate technical guidance and assistance to ensure departmental consistency.
  • Assisting in the development of a strategic growth plan for the division.

Job description

The selected QC Manager will be a key addition to the team for nationwide heavy civil and industrial projects. This position supports the Corporate QC Program and assists with the professional development of QC Specialist staff. Prior experience with USACE projects is required for serious consideration. Please note, this is a traveling role (regional) aligned with the Houston, TX office location.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation Package
  • Salary 110-150k (based on experience)
  • Per Diem and/or relocation package
