Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science.
• Experience with pipettes and/or syringes or basic lab equipment such as pH meter and balance preferred.
• Able to read/write in English and communicate technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Label, aliquot, and distribute reagents as needed
• File or scan associated paperwork appropriately
• Maintain reagent inventory and order supplies as needed
• Monitor incoming reagent requests from the laboratory
• Complete reagent requests using equipment like pH meter and balances
• Perform calculations to account for reagent volume variations
• Assist with scheduling pending reagent requests for timely delivery
• Track expiration of reagent materials and discard or re-evaluate expired items
• Dispose of chemicals properly including acid/base neutralization
• Participate in audits and departmental meetings
• Maintain orderly work area and assist with projects
