Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. in Old Fort, OH is seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician to ensure compliance with quality standards across raw materials, in-process and finished goods.

You will test samples, document results and support process optimization within a collaborative laboratory setting. Responsibilities include routine analyses, equipment maintenance, line inspections, sampling, data recording and adherence to HACCP principles.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Fluent in MS Office Suite.
• SAP experience preferred.
• High school diploma, GED and/or equivalent with 5 years of related experience or 2 years post-secondary education with 3 years related experience or 4 years post-secondary education with 1 year related experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned routine analyses and replication testing with minimal supervision.
• Provides analytical support to ensure safety and equipment maintenance.
• Inspects bagging and packaging lines for product specs (weight, date code, operation).
• Evaluates production phases to ensure quality of finished product.
• Samples and evaluates incoming shipments for specification compliance.
• Records data using established formats and notations.
• Lifts up to 50 lbs and maintains lab cleanliness.
• Supports Preventative Maintenance on lab equipment.
