Job summary

Waters is seeking a Quality Control/Quality Assurance technician to perform visual and analytical testing on incoming, in-process and finished goods, and to document results in QC and stability reports. The role involves data analysis to specifications, investigations of out-of-spec conditions, and collaboration with manufacturing staff to ensure timely QC testing.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in cGMP/GLP or medical device QA in an FDA-regulated setting.
• Experience with sampling techniques, inspection standards, or use of analytical lab equipment.
• Proficient with calibrated equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
• Ability to summarize information into data reports using Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and analytical testing on incoming, in-process and finished goods per quality specs.
• Document test results on QC reports, stability reports, and validation records.
• Analyze data to specifications and designate accept/reject.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, receiving and materials to complete QC testing timely.
• Carry out out-of-spec investigations and troubleshooting as needed.
• Prepare standards and control materials; maintain related documentation.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained per work instructions.
• Maintain lab inventory of reagents and supplies; participate in continuous improvement (kaizen).
• Handle hazardous waste and maintain 5S in lab areas.
