Job summary

The Gill Corporation is seeking a QC Lab Technician I to support testing and inspection of products, raw materials, and documentation in a busy lab environment. You will perform sample preparation, basic material testing, and record data on inspection sheets across SAP, SharePoint, and Excel systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1 year experience in production/manufacturing.
• Basic computer knowledge (how to find and open files), and Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Language Skills: English
• Mathematic Skills: Proficient in basic mathematics

Responsibilities

• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
• Comprehend and ensure compliance with internal quality documents and customer specifications.
• Perform sample preparation and use various measuring tools to ensure specimens conform to established internal documents.
• Perform basic material testing such as impact and flammability.
• Maintain office supplies.
• Use computer for basic tasks: updating Excel databases, scanning quality records, and data entry.
• Use SAP to look up production orders
• Use SharePoint for QC lab workflow
• Identify, segregate, and document nonconforming products for disposition.
