Job summary

Prolacta Bioscience is seeking a QC Lab Technician I to join their Quality Control team. Take a look at this opportunity with our Quality Control team, which is seeking a passionate individual, to fill the role of our QC Laboratory Technician I. This role provides support in daily lab testing of incoming raw milk samples, in-process, finished product and stability samples.

How You Will Contribute

  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of business processes to accomplish laboratory testing and recording results as trained
  • Demonstrates basic understanding of routine laboratory procedures
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of project/process flow within discipline
  • Works on projects of moderate scope
  • Applies knowledge of policies and practices to assignments of moderate complexity
  • Assists with effective completion of assigned projects
  • Completes laboratory testing on all samples in an accurate, efficient and timely manner
  • Performs a variety of routine laboratory operations in Quality Assurance/Quality Control setting
  • Performs work requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
  • Maintains a safe and clean laboratory
  • Disposes of hazardous/biohazardous wastes according to Prolacta established procedures

What You Bring To The Role

  • High School diploma with no experience; however, Associate’s degree preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels

Location: Required to support testing at both the City of Industry and Duarte locations

Schedule: 4/10 work schedule

Travel: Up to 5% car travel between locations may be required
