Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Laboratory Technician – Quality Control (3rd Shift) in Portage, WI. This role offers hands-on testing in a GMP-regulated environment with opportunities to learn various analytical techniques and contribute to product quality.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related science and lab experience, with the ability to work independently on an overnight shift. GMP experience is a plus and on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related science field.
• Laboratory experience through industry work, internships, research, or coursework.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities on an overnight shift.
• Experience in a GMP environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Collect samples from manufacturing and prepare them for analysis.
• Conduct laboratory testing including pH, wet chemistry, and other analytical methods.
• Accurately document and review results following GMP and SOP requirements.
• Communicate test results and quality concerns to production and quality teams.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and laboratory operations.
