Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated in Belcamp, MD is seeking a Lab Technician I to perform analytical tests and ensure quality control for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods. The role requires GMP/GLP knowledge and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers exposure to SAP data entry, calibration of lab equipment, and participation in root-cause investigations to resolve quality deviations. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related manufacturing experience acceptable.
• GMPs and GLPs knowledge required.
• PC software and data entry experience needed.
• Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing and record results in SAP.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment; calibrate as needed.
• Document Quality Notifications/DMRs/DMAs and support root cause analysis.
• Interpret data and guide manufacturing to meet specs.
• Prepare samples for outside testing, including environmental tests.
• COA verification and raw material sampling.
