ManpowerGroup's client in Norwich, NY seeks a Lab Technician (QC Laboratory Technician) on 1st shift to support the Quality Control department and product quality assurance. The role involves performing sensory, physical, chemical, microbiological, and instrumental evaluations of materials per SOPs, assisting with investigations of non-conformities, and calibrating laboratory equipment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform sensory, physical, chemical, microbiological, and instrumental evaluations of raw materials, in-process, or finished products following SOPs and specifications.
• Support investigations of internal and external non-conformities to ensure continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain raw material and finished product specifications to meet quality standards.
• Conduct special testing for various departments such as Logistics, Product Development, and Purchasing.
• Perform calibrations and qualifications on laboratory equipment, ensuring proper maintenance within the Quality Control Laboratories.
