Job summary

PerkinElmer seeks a Quality Technician to support QA and QC activities within an ISO 17025 accredited analytical lab onsite in Richmond. The role spans CAPA, document control, metrology, records management, and training support, with 1st shift hours and potential weekend overtime based on business needs.

You will perform routine sample prep, document control, instrument calibration, training recordkeeping, and participate in audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 0–2 years in labs/manufacturing.
• Associate degree in science preferred; collaborative under supervision.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain controlled documents and records per SOPs.
• Record calibration and maintenance of instrumentation.
• Scan, index, and file quality documents electronically.
• Assist with training records and onboarding of personnel.
• Track CAPA, calibration schedules, and training status.
