Scientific Recruiter at ClinLab Staffing

Position: Laboratory Technician

Location: Fountain Inn, SC, US

Responsibilities:

• Perform quality tests on products in-process and at final stages, determining product acceptance according to established test methods.
• Make adjustments to out-of-spec products in production efficiently to conform to specifications.
• Assess incoming raw materials for suitability and evaluate questionable raw materials for purchase.
• Manufacture quality samples of new or existing products following development chemists' or established procedures.
• Perform calibration procedures on laboratory instruments as required.
• Prepare reagents, standards, and hazardous or reactive mixtures as necessary.
• Maintain work order batch sheets and product retain records systematically.
• Report any discrepancies to the Q.C. Manager promptly.
• Ensure quality standards are met or exceeded by following SOPs, work instructions, and the Quality Management System, initiating corrective actions when needed.
• Operate laboratory and plant equipment properly to prevent damage or deterioration.
• Document all activities and data accurately on appropriate records.
• Report any procedural inaccuracies or issues immediately.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with experience OR a Bachelor's degree with relevant academic background.
• Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
• Ability to work independently on diverse projects efficiently.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficiency in operating laboratory and office equipment and PC applications.
• Normal or corrected vision and hearing.
• Knowledge of laboratory practices with the ability to work accurately with minimal supervision.
