Job summary

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results driven QC Lab Technician to join our Building and Finishing Haines City Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing of raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with Sika QC specifications
• report results in a timely manner to all levels of plant management Maintain comprehensive safety and environmental compliance by adhering to all Sika Safety, EHS, and ESHQ policies
• wear prescribed Personal Protective Equipment
• report unsafe acts or conditions immediately and actively work to improve lab safety Manage QC data entry, record filing, lab equipment calibration, and inventory of lab supplies and chemicals
• collect and verify Certificates of Analysis for incoming raw materials Maintain formula integrity and create lab batches as required by Research and Development and plant management
• Collaborate as an active QC representative within the Production team and support supervisor with sample shipments and logistics Pursue continuous learning of plant processes and controls as they pertain to overall quality
• support special projects aligned with corporate safety and efficiency initiatives
