Job summary

MANE in Lebanon, OH is seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician I/II to test finished goods, work in process and raw materials, ensuring workmanship meets specifications. You will communicate with production, planning and customer service while following established protocols.

The role is night shift—Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM (three 12-hour days, pays 40 hours). High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• Experience or ability to perform standard evaluation and testing of batch samples.
• Ability to communicate effectively with production, planning and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard evaluation and testing of batch samples from production and R&D.
• Maintain accurate records of results and perform regular lab verifications.
• Operate lab equipment and assist with environmental testing as needed.
• Collaborate with production personnel to ensure product quality.
• Label, sample, analyze, and transport hazardous waste as required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform standard evaluation and testing of batch samples from production and R&D
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Be dependable, ability to multi-task, productive and high-quality workmanship
• Learn and follow established protocols
• Maintain accurate records of results
• Perform regular lab verifications and calibrations
• Interact with Production personnel to ensure successful products
• Assist in Environmental testing
• Operate lab equipment: Refractive Index, Specific Gravity, Sensory, Data Analysis, Other lab equipment and testing as needed
• Responsible for adding waste to a satellite accumulation container, labeling, sampling, analyzing, and transporting hazardous waste.
• Other duties as assigned by management
