Mane-USA is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the night rotation in Lebanon, OH. Lead capsule department teams to ensure safety, quality, and timely production, while coordinating with Planning, Quality Control, and Maintenance. Must drive improvements and uphold GMP and regulatory standards.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills, and experience in flavor manufacturing. Evening-to-night schedule on a 2-2-3 rotation with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Operations, Logistics, Engineering, Business or Management; supervisory experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee capsule department to ensure safety and product quality.
• Lead SOP compliance and drive safety and quality initiatives.
• Provide coaching and corrective action using goals, appraisals and disciplinary processes.
• Lead root-cause analyses to drive improvements and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Technical Team to deliver on-time, quality products.
• Ensure GMP, Food Safety, Quality, Regulatory compliance and company values.

We currently have an opening for an Operations Supervisor on the night 2-2-3 rotation shift. The Operations Supervisor oversees and provides direction to employees to ensure product quality, timeliness, and safety standards are met. Interacts with Planning, Quality Control, R&D, Shipping and Receiving, Maintenance, Management, Rabbis for Kosher approval, and internal and external Auditors. Shift Hours: 5:00pm to 5:30am on a 2-2-3 rotation schedule

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee employees working in the capsule department to maintain personal safety by adhering to safety protocols
• Oversee employees are consistently executing standard operating procedures to maintain their personal safety and product quality.
• Provide leadership directives to capsule employees to promote company values, goals, and objectives.
• Provide coaching and corrective action to employees as needed, utilizing goals and objectives, performance appraisals, and disciplinary processes.
• Maintain and incorporate key manufacturing benchmarks into work activities, focusing on root-cause analysis to drive improvements and efficiencies.
• Be a problem solver that seeks long-term improvements to procedures, policies, and training programs to support employees
• Collaborate with the Technical Team to deliver on-time, quality products for the customer daily.
• Uphold the highest standards via compliance with GMP, Food Safety Procedures, Quality Procedures, Regulatory requirements, and company values.
• Manage production activities to satisfy customer orders and ensure product meets customer’s quality specifications, required lead time, and internal efficiencies to meet MANE’s financial demands.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards of equipment and operations.
• Assure all GMP rules are properly followed, including personal hygiene, trash removal, etc.
• Actively participate in periodic training sessions to increase understanding of, and abilities related to safety, quality productivity, materials, and equipment operation.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
• Management will support and facilitate education, training and action within their teams to effectively and adequately implement environmental policies, procedures and practices, as well as promote continual improvement consistent with environmental objectives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Logistics, Engineering, Business or Management degrees preferred, but Supervisory experience will be taken into account.
• Minimum 2 years of Flavor Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of Supervisory experience and at least 2 years working with manufacturing strategies and systems preferred.
• Understanding of supply chain activities.
• Working knowledge of multiple industry-related equipment including Homogenizers, Centrifuges, and various Filter Presses and Pumps.
• Excellent computer software skills and strong math skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Ability to adjust and adapt to in a reactive and rapidly changing work environment
• Self-motivating, forward thinking problem solver with a highly professional demeanor.
• Organized, strong attention to detail and follow-up
• Exhibits successful leadership through personal integrity and exemplary work ethics.
