Job summary

Biovation Labs LLC seeks a QC Lab Operations Lead to manage daily sampling and login activities for materials and finished goods in a cGMP nutraceutical facility. You will ensure accurate labeling, documentation, and timely submission to testing, while maintaining cleanliness and audit readiness.

You will lead QC Technicians, train staff on GMP/GDP practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize testing and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in science or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing, laboratory, food, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical environment preferred.
• Prior experience with material sampling, inventory handling, laboratory support, or quality operations strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership or peer-lead experience in a production or laboratory setting preferred.
• Familiarity with cGMP requirements, aseptic techniques, and GDP.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily sampling and sample login activities for raw materials, WIP, packaging components, and finished products.
• Ensure samples are collected, labeled, documented, and entered into the lab information or ERP system accurately and on time.
• Verify sample integrity, traceability, and chain-of-custody documentation prior to laboratory submission.
• Maintain sampling booths, staging areas, and workspaces in inspection-ready condition.
• Provide daily direction, coaching, and floor support to QC Sampling Technicians and temporary staff; train new employees on GMP documentation and aseptic practices.
• Ensure all sampling activities comply with cGMP regulations, SOPs, safety standards, and GDP.
