VulcanForms Inc. is seeking a Manager of Quality Control to own inspection workflows, metrology standards, and staff development in a 24/7 high-precision manufacturing environment. Lead lab activities to ensure top product quality and executive visibility through data-driven reporting.

You will standardize QC operations, scale processes across shifts, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Quality Control, Metrology, or Inspection within a high-precision manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of formal management experience (M2 or Lead level) overseeing a multi-shift technical team.
• Mastery of GD&T and advanced metrology equipment (CMM, GOM/Blue Light, NDT).
• Budgeting & Staffing: ability to manage departmental costs and forecast resources.
• Deep understanding of ISO 9001 or AS9100 requirements within a lab setting.
• Ability to translate complex quality data into actionable narratives for senior management.

Responsabilités

• Own daily operations and long-term scheduling for the QC Inspection team, including throughput, staffing, and costs.
• Act as primary technical advisor for the lab on measurement strategy, downtime, and bottlenecks.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, lab safety, and validation methods for metrology equipment.
• Provide turnaround times to Program Managers and executives; manage lab capacity to prevent delays.
• Architect and maintain KPIs to drive improvements in lab efficiency.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training for the QC team across multiple shifts.
• Ensure the lab is audit-ready for ISO/AS9100 and customer requirements.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Digital teams to integrate inspection data with MES/ERP.
