Job summary

Sanofi in Swiftwater, PA is seeking a QC Lab Team Supervisor to oversee the quality control laboratory, ensuring GMP-compliant operations, timely testing, and continuous improvement in a vaccine/pharma manufacturing setting.

You will lead a team, mentor staff, manage qualification matrices, and collaborate with QA, production, and audits, with extensive hands-on lab expertise and strong regulatory knowledge to maintain product quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field and 8+ years in a cGMP environment.
• Progressive QC experience from technician to management roles.
• Deep GMP knowledge and regulatory requirements (FDA/EMA/ICH).
• Hands-on expertise in Particulate Isolation, Micro-FTIR, SEM/EDS.
• Experience in regulated testing (USP/EP/JP a plus).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily QC lab operations to meet schedules.
• Perform routine shopfloor reviews and identify improvements.
• Ensure timely testing of samples per protocols.
• Maintain GMP compliance and validated methods.
• Lead training, audits support, and CAPA implementation.
• Author and review technical docs and change controls.
