Job summary

Salary range is $96,000 to $110,000 annually with full-time exempt status. The position emphasizes leadership, regulatory adherence, and collaboration with other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years’ GMP analytical chemistry laboratory experience with analytical instrumentation.
• Ability to lead and direct others.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Excellent organization and multitasking with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the QC lab chemists and assign staff.
• Provide direction and feedback based on priorities.
• Review analytical results per company policy.
• Conduct performance and compensation reviews and recruit staff.
• Maintain calibration schedules and perform equipment maintenance.
• Develop and revise standard operating procedures.
• Ensure laboratory regulatory compliance and training.
• Assist audits and act as liaison with other departments.
• May perform analyses on materials using listed instruments.
• Backup for laboratory management.
