Job summary

Summit Seed Coatings in Caldwell, Idaho seeks a Quality Control Lab Coordinator to ensure product quality through routine lab tests, record-keeping, and process monitoring. You will support customer inquiries with technical guidance and assist in maintaining SOPs and QC protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control or laboratory settings preferred.
• Seed or agricultural industry experience a plus.
• Strong reading and writing in English; follow SOPs and technical documents.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized lab tests on materials to ensure quality.
• Follow SOPs and company policies with accuracy.
• Record, analyse, and report test results with detailed documentation.
• Monitor production samples and schedules for timely workflow.
• Troubleshoot lab, data and process issues; escalate when needed.
• Serve as technical contact for customers regarding product quality and specs.
• Calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in developing and enforcing QC procedures and protocols.
