Job summary

We are searching for the best talent for QC Lab Co-Opto be in Gurabo, PR.

• The Co-op term is from January to December, 2027.
• Full time requirement (40 hours per week).

Purpose:

Join the Quality Control team and support initiatives that improve laboratory operations, materials management, inventory visibility, and data-driven decision making. This co-op offers hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment while working with QC, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze laboratory material usage, inventory, and purchasing data.
• Support development of a standardized QC laboratory purchasing process.
• Assist in creating a site-wide laboratory materials database and baseline inventory.
• Support Reduced Testing Plan initiatives through data collection and analysis.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI.
• Identify process improvement opportunities using Lean principles.
• Prepare presentations and recommendations for leadership.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, or related fields.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratory operations, and continuous improvement.
