Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Associate II in the Quality Control Lab (Chemistry) based in Fort Worth, Texas. This role performs complex chemical analyses, method development, validation, and troubleshooting, with emphasis on ICP-MS techniques, while ensuring adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements.

The candidate will work on ICP-MS method development, transfer, and routine QC testing, collaborating across sites to drive new product launches and continuous improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs)
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Experience in Chemistry / Lab Environment and in a regulated environment

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and validate ICP-MS analytical methods for new and existing products.
• Execute product and analytical method validation activities including protocol execution and data evaluation.
• Operate and troubleshoot ICP-MS instrumentation and analytical methods to resolve issues.
• Provide analytical support for method development, transfer, validation, and implementation into routine QC operations.
• Coordinate activities with multiple manufacturing and lab sites to support transfers and product launches.
• Support new product introductions ensuring methods are developed, transferred, and change-controlled.
