Job summary

SMS InfoComm Corporation is seeking a QC Inspector to perform visual inspections and comprehensive testing of customer devices in the Whole-Unit-Repair Depot Rushmore. The role emphasizes meticulous defect identification, documentation verification, and adherence to packaging standards.

Responsibilities include software/hardware testing on Windows and ChromeOS, traveler form checks, and precise unit verification. Overtime and Saturday shifts (7:00am-3:15pm) are required as part of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College degree in business or computer science preferred.
• 0–1 year experience in a repair depot or quality control field.
• Basic knowledge of Windows-based operating systems requested.

Responsibilities

• Perform Visual Inspections and address assembly issues, missing screws or labels, and defective plastics.
• Perform Software/Hardware testing on Windows and ChromeOS platforms.
• Verify documentation and traveler forms, and conduct physical unit verification.
• Maintain accurate records and support outbound shipping with measured passes.
