Klute is seeking a QC Inspector – NDT Level II Certified to ensure our steel fabrication meets the highest standards for quality, safety, and performance. Location: York, Nebraska, full-time, $30–$35/hour, DOE.

You will perform inspections and nondestructive testing, evaluate materials and workmanship, document findings, and help ensure compliance with applicable specifications, codes, and company quality standards.

Qualifications

• ASNT Level II certification in UT or MT, or CWI
• Ability to perform nondestructive testing and welding inspection to prescribed standards
• Strong attention to detail and compliance with procedures

Location: York, Nebraska | Full-Time | $30–$35/Hour

Pay & Schedule

• $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience
• Monday–Thursday: 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Friday: 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
• Overtime opportunities

What You'll Do

As an NDT Technician Level II, you’ll play an important role in maintaining the quality and reliability of Klute’s steel fabrication processes. You’ll perform inspections, evaluate materials and workmanship, and help ensure our products meet applicable specifications, codes, and company quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform inspections and nondestructive testing in accordance with applicable requirements and procedures.
• Evaluate materials, fabrication processes, and workmanship for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and document nonconforming products or processes and communicate findings to the appropriate team members.
• Help ensure compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and company procedures.
• Support quality assurance efforts and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and required documentation.
• Work collaboratively with production and other team members to uphold Klute’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• Current or previous American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) or Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), OR Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to follow established procedures and accurately document inspection results.
• Self-motivation, reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to safety.
