Job summary

Klute, a third-generation, family-owned steel fabrication company, seeks a detail-oriented QC Inspector – NDT Level II to help ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. You’ll perform inspections, evaluate materials and workmanship, and verify conformance to specifications and codes. The position pays $30–$35 per hour.

Schedule is Mon–Thu 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and Fri 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with overtime opportunities and annual merit raises or bonuses.

Qualifications

• ASNT Level II UT or MT (or CWI) certification required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow procedures and document inspection results accurately.
• Safety-conscious and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and nondestructive testing in accordance with applicable requirements and procedures.
• Evaluate materials and workmanship for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and document nonconforming products or processes and communicate findings to the team.
• Ensure compliance with codes, specifications, and company procedures.
• Support quality assurance efforts and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and required documentation.
• Collaborate with production to uphold Klute’s quality and customer satisfaction.
