Job summary

Tennant Company, Louisville, KY, is hiring a QC Inspector-Intermediate to perform standardized inspections on products and materials. The role requires 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, basic inspection skills, and familiarity with inspection tools; lean/continuous improvement exposure is preferred.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00–3:30 with overtime as needed. Salary ranges from $18.56 to $27.88 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits; must be legally authorized to work in the United

Qualifications

• Applies basic inspection skills related to inspection procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment.
• Familiar with using the appropriate inspection tooling (i.e., micrometers, calipers, thread gages) to accurately measure part features preferred.
• Able to perform basic math with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• PC Skills in order to navigate production reporting (SAP).
• Ability to follow standard work as trained.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1 - 2 years of manufacturing or related experience.
• Previous inspection training and /or experience preferred.
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement projects preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Sales and Service Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. The salary range reflects both entry into the role and future growth. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
