Job summary

Labor Solutions, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections in a manufacturing environment. The role requires hands-on inspection experience, reading engineering drawings, and using precision measuring equipment to ensure parts meet specifications.

The ideal candidate will read drawings, perform measurements with calipers and micrometers, and document quality records.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• At least 1+ year of quality control/inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Hands-on experience using calipers and micrometers.
• Experience with optical comparators, thread gauges, and plug gauges is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products for compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, thread gauges, plug gauges, and other measuring equipment.
• Perform incoming inspections using established AQL sampling criteria.
• Identify, document, segregate, and report nonconforming or suspect material.
• Verify production is working from the correct work orders, SOPs, and drawing revisions.
• Complete inspection reports, quality records, rework/scrap documentation, and related quality-system records.
• Inspect customer returns/RMAs and assist with corrective-action documentation.
• Work closely with production to communicate quality issues and required corrections.
• Support internal and external quality audits as needed.
