Becton, Dickinson and Company in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Inspector II to support the QC Laboratory. You will perform quality control inspections, testing, environmental monitoring, and calibration activities, following approved procedures and documenting results with accuracy.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2–3 years QA/testing experience.
• Technical/Associate degree with at least 1 year QA/testing experience.
• Knowledge of measurement/inspection equipment required.
• English literacy and basic computer skills.

Mansioni

• Perform quality control inspection, testing, environmental/microbiological monitoring, and calibration activities in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
• Collect, prepare, inspect, and test samples, materials, and components using applicable laboratory and measurement equipment, including Instrons, microscopes, calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Accurately interpret equipment readings and document inspection, testing, monitoring, and calibration results in accordance with good documentation practices.
• Review applicable supplier documentation and appropriately identify and document accepted, rejected, or nonconforming materials.
• Identify and elevate abnormal results, discrepancies, equipment issues, and nonconforming conditions, and support investigations and corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain inspection‑ready work areas, equipment, supplies, and records, and support calibration activities and internal or external audits as required.
• Follow applicable safety, regulatory, quality system, and company requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
