Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Proficiency with quality inspection tools and knowledge of ISO 9001 or regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to assess product dimensions, functionality, and durability.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records for quality control reporting and traceability.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify root causes of quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct audits of manufacturing processes and quality systems to ensure compliance with procedures and external regulations.
• Train and mentor junior quality control staff to promote best practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce defects and improve process efficiency.
