Job summary

Composite Factory in Mooresville, NC is hiring a Quality Control Inspector II in Metrology & GD&T to ensure parts meet customer specifications and engineering standards.

You will inspect carbon fiber components, perform dimensional checks with calipers, micrometers, PCMM and other tools, document nonconformances, and maintain precise records. Domestic candidates with strong attention to detail and communication are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years in quality control in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with carbon fiber or composites a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with MS Office; inspection software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical/dimensional inspection of a diverse product line.
• Inspect carbon fiber components for defects per specifications.
• Use PCMM and manual tools to collect weights and measurements.
• Document nonconformances via NCR and pursue timely disposition.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and reports.
• Follow SOPs and safety policies.
• Collaborate with Quality Control Lead and manufacturing team.
