Job Summary

The QC Inspector I will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of products in manufacturing or distribution environments. Responsibilities include inspecting materials, components, and finished products to meet quality standards. The role involves conducting visual and measurement tests, documenting findings, and reporting defects. The inspector will collaborate with production or distribution teams to resolve quality issues and contribute to process improvements.

Job Description

Major Responsibilities:

1. Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products. Document results and maintain records.
2. Use measurement tools to verify product dimensions and specifications.
3. Identify, report defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
4. Collaborate with teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
5. Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures.
6. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Assess inbound damaged goods and repackage as needed.
8. Support tasks like inventory checks, stock recalls, deviations, relabeling, rework, and pedigree verification.
9. Operate powered material handling equipment if required.
10. Read and interpret instructions, blueprints, and documents.
11. Comply with SOPs, Quality Systems, OSHA guidelines, and company policies.

The salary range for this position is $18.75 - $26.25 hourly, depending on location, experience, and skills. The actual salary will not be less than the applicable minimum wage.
