Job summary

DeSHAZO, LLC. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector I to examine incoming and outgoing parts and supplies to ensure they meet manufacturing standards.

You will inspect products using gauges, CMM, scales, oscilloscope, and vision systems before shipment, and generate data spreadsheets for collection. The role requires technical proficiency, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with quality, manufacturing, and engineering to resolve issues.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday while performing inspections and audits.
• Ability to frequently use hands and fingers to operate measuring instruments, gauges, testing equipment, and computer systems.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb as necessary to inspect materials, components, and finished products.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance or lifting equipment.
• Ability to inspect products and materials in various positions, including floor level, elevated surfaces, and confined work areas.
• Ability to distinguish colors, markings, weld quality indicators, and other visual characteristics required for inspection activities.
• Ability to maintain visual acuity sufficient to read blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, measuring instruments, inspection reports, and computer screens.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, and arms while conducting inspections and documenting findings.
• Ability to communicate effectively with production personnel, supervisors, engineers, and customers regarding quality-related issues.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, gloves, steel-toed footwear, and other safety equipment as required.
