Custom Staffing partners with a Marion-based manufacturer to recruit a hands-on QC Inspector – FRP for fiberglass-reinforced plastic piping and components.

Position: QC Inspector – FRP (Fiberglass-reinforced Plastic)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am-3:30pm (Hours are subject to change. Weekends and OT as needed)
Pay: $28/hour
Employment Type: Direct Hire Opportunity
We are seeking a hands on QC Inspector to support the manufacturing of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) pipe and composite components. This role ensures that resin systems, reinforcements, layup sequences, cure cycles, dimensional tolerances, and chemical?handling practices meet the Client’s quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. The QC Inspector verifies that each part conforms to drawings, resin mix sheets, cure logs, work instructions, and project quality requirements before release. This role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working around chemical processes, and the confidence to stop work when resin ratios, catalyst levels, cure conditions, or workmanship do not meet requirements.
A strong candidate understands composite manufacturing, resin chemistry, and the importance of precise ratios, environmental controls, and cure verification. They can read drawings, inspect composite layups, verify resin batches, and document issues clearly. This is not a cosmetic inspection role — it requires technical understanding of FRP manufacturing and chemical safety.
