Job description

Quality Control Inspector

The Quality Inspector will focus on quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements to ensure consistency and quality of all company products, processes, and policy documentation.

Shift: This is a full-time, on-site, 2nd shift position working Monday through Thursday from 3:15 p.m. to 1:45 a.m.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Perform first articles, in-process, roaming, and final inspections on precision machined products using a variety of inspection tools. This will comprise 90% or more of the personnel’s time, with remaining time dedicated to other necessary functions within the Quality Department.

Qualifications & Skills:

REQUIRED:

• Ability to read and interpret prints
• Familiarity with standard measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, thread plugs, and plug gages
• Attention to detail in documentation and measuring techniques
• High visual acuity
• Ability to perform job functions amidst distractions
• Efficiency-driven mindset
• Capability to work in a high-paced environment
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision
• Ability to understand standard operating procedures, specifications, and forms
• Highly trainable
• Strong attendance record

PREFERRED:

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook)
• Background in a machining environment (Quality and/or Production)

• No travel is expected for this position.
