Job summary

Weihao Industries is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods meet specifications. The role requires careful attention to detail, familiarity with AQL sampling, and following written work instructions.

You will perform inspections, take samples, document QC activities, and support the Quality Control Manager with corrective actions. The position is in a manufacturing environment with physical work and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and good visual acuity for inspection tasks.
• Basic math skills, including measurement and the use of inspection tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in quality control or a manufacturing/production environment.
• Familiarity with AQL sampling and inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials, components, and finished goods according to work instructions.
• Take samples and perform testing according to AQL and quality standards.
• Conduct in-process quality control checks in the production area.
• Perform final inspection of outgoing materials and finished goods.
• Report quality problems to the QC Manager and assist with corrective actions.
• Complete QC documentation and inspection checklists.

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods meet company specifications and quality standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with sampling and inspection methods (including AQL), and the ability to follow work instructions to safeguard product quality throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials, components, and finished goods in accordance with work instructions.
• Take samples and perform testing according to AQL and the company's quality standards.
• Perform in-process quality control checks within the production area.
• Conduct final inspection of outgoing materials and finished goods.
• Report any quality problems to the Quality Control Manager and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Complete quality documentation, including QC reports and inspection checklists.
• Organize and maintain retention samples.

The Pay Range For This Role Is

22 - 24 USD per hour(Gale)
