Job summary

One Source Manufacturing is seeking a QC Inspector to join the Leander, TX shop floor. You will verify conformance of parts to blueprints, P.O.s and manufacturing requirements, using CMM programs and hand tools, while supporting multiple departments.

Strong attention to detail, good communication, and experience with quality systems are essential. This role includes light lifting and working in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma and 2 years in Manufacturing Quality Control.
• Experience understanding hand held measurement tools and CMM software.
• Some college or ASQ certification desired.
• Proficient with Excel/Word/Outlook and Inspection Xpert.

Responsibilities

• Work with QC Management to meet daily department needs and priorities.
• Provide consistent, thorough, professional service to all departments.
• Verify product conformance to blueprints, P.O. and manufacturing requirements using established methods.
• Escalate issues to QC Management as needed.
• Collaborate with QC team members and use NCMR software.
• Perform other QC tasks as determined.

Job Location: One Source Manufacturing Headquarters - Leander, TX 78641

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with QC Management to achieve 100% of department daily needs and priorities.
• Provide consistent, thorough, professional service to all departments.
• Verification of product to blueprint, P.O. and manufacturing requirements using best known methods.
• Ability to use the following, as instructed:
  • Procedures
  • Forms
  • Hand tools
  • CMM Programs
  • Comparator
• Escalate issues to QC Management as needed.
• Work with other QC team members as needed.
• Use of NCMR software.
• Other QC tasks as determined

Work Environment

This job operates in a manufacturing shop environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copier/scanner, and filing cabinets. QC Inspector will need to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds. No travel is expected.
