Cust-O-Fab is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform inspections on completed jobs in our shop in Beaumont, TX. The role focuses on ensuring parts meet customer specifications and requires interpreting blueprints, taking precise measurements, and documenting findings.
The ideal candidate will have HS/GED, basic math and geometry skills, and experience with ASME VIII and TEMA codes. This is a day shift, on-site position with potential growth in QC responsibilities.
This is a Shop-based position, not a field service position. The role will be performed in the shop rather than traveling to customer locations.
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing inspections on completed jobs to ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations. The essential functions include, but are not limited to:
Employees will be required to sit, stand, walk, kneel and crouch. Employees will also use their hands and arms and view objects closely. Employees may be required to lift and/or move anywhere from 10 to 25 pounds and occasionally will help lift 50 pounds. Employees may work in high noise levels and near exposed fumes or particles.
